The purpose of this document is to define and present the company’s commitments regarding Safety, Health at Work, Environment (HSE) and Social Responsibility (RS):

  • Protect the health and safety of workers, communities and other stakeholders of AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA, as well as the environment.
  • Minimize risks for the general public, workers and the environment, and preserve the assets of the company.
  • Respect the culture, customs, laws and Human Rights (HR) of communities within the sphere of influence of the company, while promoting its sustainable development.
  • Achieve continuous improvement in performance in Safety, Occupational Health, Environment and Social Responsibility.

AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA., Has a System to ensure that the activities of Safety, Health at Work, Environment and Social Responsibility, Process Risks, are effectively and efficiently managed.
AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA. Will develop, implement and maintain HSE & RS standards, procedures, guides, programs and manuals to fulfill the purpose of this policy, in accordance with:

  1. Respect for Human Rights and compliance with Colombian laws and regulations, and the applicable policies, standards and procedures of HSE & RS, following the parameters established in the Security and Human Rights Policy for the timely correction of the deficiencies observed,
  2. Identification, evaluation and mitigation of HSE & RS risk factors and impacts.
  3. The solution or suspension of any activity that represents an Unacceptable Risk to human health, the environment or the safety of the process, which can not be corrected in a timely manner.
  4. The authorization and responsibility of all employees and contractors to stop work or actions that are considered unsafe and that may result in injuries, illness, damage to facilities or adverse impacts to the environment.
  5. Adequate preparation for timely and efficient response to HSE & RS emergencies.
  6. Communication to workers and other stakeholders about health risks in the activities they carry out, and the prevention and protection measures to be implemented.
  7. Integrating HES & SR aspects into business planning and decision making.
  8. The selection and contracting of contractors and suppliers that manage the aspects of HSE & RS according to the standards of AZABACHE ENERGY INC. SUCURSAL COLOMBIA., Show an effective commitment to the management of risks and impacts and demonstrate an excellent performance in HSE & RS.
  9. Ensure that employees and contractors receive training, and have the skills and knowledge necessary to comply with this policy.
  10. Collect information on HSE & RS performance in order to report it to internal and external audiences.

  14. The promotion of mutually beneficial relationships with communities, business and professional organizations, and other stakeholders.
  15. The development of the activities to guarantee this policy in accordance with ethical and transparency parameters, with which the Businesses must conduct.

The Management Committee of AZABACHE ENERGY INC. SUCURSAL COLOMBIA, will provide guidance and resources to develop and implement the HSE & RS requirements established in the Management System.
All employees, contractors and suppliers of AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA., Shall:

  1. To know and comply fully with the laws, regulations, standards, procedures, guides, programs and manuals of HSE & RS and the Security and Human Rights Policy of AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA.
  2. Behave in a safe and respectful manner, with the environment, communities present in the area of ​​direct influence, ethnic communities specifically and other stakeholders of the company.
  3. Acting promptly to stop unsafe acts and correct conditions or unacceptable risks of HSE & RS.
  4. Report any possible violation or non-compliance with HSE & RS’s laws and regulations, as well as any possible violation or breach of this policy, its immediate supervisor or the HSE, Social Responsibility or Legal Departments of AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA.
  5. Cooperate in the investigation of situations of possible non-compliance with the laws, regulations, standards or procedures of HSE & RS, or non-compliance with this policy and the Security and Human Rights Policy of AZABACHE ENERGY INC SUCURSAL COLOMBIA.
